I hope you've had a chance to download and play around with Winamp 5.54. In case you haven't, here are some of the highlights from this release:

* New Language Packs: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese & Korean

So what are we working on now?

Although 5.54 is pretty solid, there's always room for improvement. The next release is going to be more of a maintenance release where we'll be working on some key bug fixes as well as a few feature enhancements.

I don't want all that. it makes winamp slowww!. I understand you want to make some money to pay Tarik. ;) But i want a player that doesnt stop when i browse 20.000 items in the libary. Dont make the same mistakes. Keep it smart small and simple. so a pentium M centrino with windows XP still can use it.
