I have used Winamp for at least 8 years, but just as an MP3 player - but as a regular user, I still am not comfortable using it - seems to me that with each new version, the program gets more and more difficult for the causal user to use. For some time, my impression has been that Winamp has become a program for experienced users only, and that new users will not spend the time needed to learn the program. A good example of the lack of respect Winamp has for new users is this tutorial - How could any legitimate software producer create something as CRUDE as this video? What's the message to a new user?
