facebook .... 6. i want to do this, but what i REALLY want is the ability to pick which winamp install will make my entire ML available to sort and search on the web to the public.
so, i could like tell my friends go to www and see what all stuff i have or don't have, see the artwork, sort it, search it, and so on... as well as see the orgler stats.
10. I have WinAmp Charts installed and appearing in my online services, however MyCharts still shows that I have not listened to any songs recently. Is there any reason why this is not updating even though I am logged in and listening to music? I created the QA Log file and it is showing the songs I have listened to there.
11. well, I gave it a try, logging in, checking all the boxes that make it collect my data, and yet, it says I have no songs I've listened to. Considering that last.fm has already created an ideal system which worked flawlessly on first try, i'll come back in a few months and try this again once the bugs are worked out. i tried!
13. Wow a way to see what everyone is listening to, how many times a song is listened to, an album, an artist....oh wait Last.fm has been doing this for years now, has a huge community already built up, tons of features, WORKS WITH WINAMP, WMP, IPODs, and many other players. will suggest many artists and songs based on your listening trends.
.....nice idea, but its been done and done better. Perhaps you should just pick up the phone and call up someone over at last.fm, work out some details and build the scrobbeling code directly into winamp, save you some time, man hours, and some money.
14. So is there an online library in the works, so that all of the play counts and ratings are stored online instead of just on your local computer? I use Winamp from multiple computers, and unfortunately each has their own play counts, last played, and ratings. It would be great if there was an online library so that when I listen to and rate songs from one Winamp location the other Winamp locations get the updates. I was hoping that this Orgler would be that but it looks like it's not.
One part genius. Three parts llama. And a sprinkling of corporate AOL. That's what Winamp is all about.
