103. Is there a way to control winamp "by command line"?
I'd like to do something like pause the music when the headphone is unplugged or automatically start playing jsic when I dock my phone in my car.
But I can't find anything regarding command line options.
Thanx
108. Can you please make an "old style" winamp version or just add folders and some features well known to winamp? Me and many of my friends are organizing music by folders. I would pay for it, there is no player that acts like old winamp on the market right now :(!
109. I'm using Winamp for Windows for a long time (several years) and I'm very pleased about it.
I'm using Winamp for Android for like a month now and here I miss the folder support which works great in Windows. I organise my own music folders and I would like to select the folder and just play it.. this is not possible for Android Winamp at the moment? Will this be added in the future or not? I do not want the hassle of playlists and stuff just select a folder and play the music.
I am currently using a trial version of an other Android application that does support folders, and I'm considering to purchase that app.. or use winamp if it will support folders. I'm even willing to pay for Android Winamp with folder support... I would love to here your repsonse! Ardon
114. To actually do so, the phone either has to be able to be rooted or possibly have been provided a higher OS upgrade from the carrier/manufacturer.

116. Hi there,
for me one of the best players, many people mentioned some things missing already, I'll repeat some of them a add one more. With these features it will be definitely the best one for me, now I have to use more players.
1. flac ...
2. fade in/out track transition
aaaand not mentioned yet, feature just for portable player
3.
unplugging headphones -> just pausing the playback
connecting them again -> the playback continues from where it stopped
(now the player after headphones unplugging closes itself, the behaviour can be found in mort player, I now that direct comparing could not be fair, but this feature is really rocking)
the other features, that would be fine but not so important for me (of course I'm not speaking for the others):
folder playback ... great managed playlists so I don't need it
equalizer ... it's just my feeling that the sound is already enhanced by winamp? when I play one song with winamp and other players winamp gives better (something like more clear) sound, but it could be just my feeling ...
I didn't noticed winamp pro yet ... so I'm your next paying user ;c)
cheers, joe
One part genius. Three parts llama. And a sprinkling of corporate AOL. That's what Winamp is all about.
